EMERGENCY HOUSING PROGRAMS
Crisis Housing
Crisis Housing is operated in tandem with the Youth Navigators and the Street Outreach Program to provide a full range of intensive crisis intervention and case management services. The Young Adult Crisis Housing Program is funded by HUD’s Youth Homeless Demonstration Program (YHDP) and provides 12 beds in safe, temporary housing, for youth ages 18-24, while permanent housing options are developed.
Basic Center
Basic Center is a licensed emergency overnight shelter program for youth under age 18, who are not otherwise system or service connected. Youth Continuum has 4 beds to serve minors who have runaway, are unstably housed, and/or are fleeing dangerous situations. Basic Center case management provides for basic needs and life skills development, while working towards family reunification for the youth. Basic Center Shelter is a 21-night stay maximum, with after-care case management attached.
