Founded
in 1966, Youth Continuum is a private, non-profit, multi-service agency providing
counseling, group home, transitional living, supportive housing and
educational programs to homeless youth in the Greater New Haven area. For
over 40 years, we have provided assistance to at-risk youth, helping them
overcome abuse, neglect, poverty, learning disabilities, and other
challenges. Whether through our unique street outreach program or referral
from trusted partners, we offer a caring and nurturing environment for
youth as they prepare for successful adulthood. The agency reaches over 1,000
young people annually through a $7 million budget that is funded by
government and private foundation grants, individual contributions, and
corporate supporters. Youth Continuum is accredited by the Council on
Accreditation and is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Children and
Families.
